As Executive Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer for AMC Networks, Christian Wymbs is responsible for managing the Company’s corporate accounting, financial reporting and tax functions.

Wymbs joined AMC Networks in 2016, arriving from the American Express Company where he held a number of positions since 2006. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice president and Chief Financial Officer of its Global Commercial Services business. Previously, he served as SVP and CFO of its Enterprise Growth Group business, in addition to holding other various financial positions in its Global Consumer and World Services businesses. Prior to joining the American Express Company, he worked for the General Electric Company in the finance and audit areas. Wymbs began his career at Ernst & Young LLP in 1993.

He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Public Accounting & Finance from Fordham University and his MBA from the New York University Stern School of Business.
